the melody and lyrics of the "
fire song" seem closest to the original "
scotland's burning", with a simple name change to "london", and the discouraging observation "we have no water" as sung by my canadian family from ontario in the 1960's (i only learned about "pour on water" from
wikipedia while making this webpage! :)
the history of the "
water song" is much simpler, possibly because of it's philosophical, even spiritual, message... and here a healing and transformational one
